Build Your Own PC (BYOPC)
Course Description

Understanding the components that make up a computer system is essential for anyone looking to take charge of maintaining their PC or laptop. In our 2-Days workshop, participants will have the opportunity to delve into practical exercises and even assemble a computer themselves. Whether using parts provided by our Company or their own, attendees will gain valuable insight into how hardware and software work together to enhance their computing experience.

Our experienced trainer will guide you through each component, explaining its function and importance, ultimately empowering you with the knowledge needed for basic PC troubleshooting and assembly. By the end of the course, you will have the necessary skills to tackle common issues such as network connectivity problems, frozen screens, unresponsive keyboards, and glitches with PCs and printers. Additionally, you will learn how to protect your system from security threats, saving you both time and money that would otherwise be spent on unnecessary repair services.

With the expertise gained from our PC and laptop maintenance course, you will be well-equipped to independently diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring a smoother and more efficient computing experience.

Customers Testimonials

Took the option of Custom PC Building course plus purchasing a PC, and brought my 10 year old son. I felt that Shane taught at the appropriate level for a beginner, providing just enough information to understand the core concepts and basic details. He patiently attended to my son’s numerous questions in a friendly and professional manner. In addition, Shane freely shared his industry insights and expertise with us and I learnt a lot. My son said that the guided hands-on practice was a “unique experience in a long time”. I was confident and assured in asking Shane for objective recommendations and I will definitely consider purchasing PCs or IT equipment from Define PC.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Shane at Define.PC built me an incredible gaming rig.

From the first conversation, Shane made the whole process easy. When I wasn’t sure about anything, he patiently explained the trade-offs and gave suggestions clearly. Communication throughout the build was excellent. Shane kept me updated, answered every question quickly, and had the PC ready ahead of schedule.

The build quality is outstanding. The cable management is some of the cleanest I've seen, it's exactly what I wanted, and it runs quiet and cool even under heavy load. It booted up perfectly on day one, already tested and set up.

If you’re in Singapore and want a custom PC built by someone who knows his stuff and treats you right, go to Define.PC and ask for Shane. I’d absolutely return for my next build.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. was looking for a new PC for work, stumbled upon this shop on carousell which offers great affordability with wide range of payment modes that is good for budget seekers. But what sets Define PC from other computer sellers is their UNMATCHED AFTERSALES SERVICE (which for me is very important) and assistance to their clients, Mr. Shane Tan is super helpful and will explain everything you need. Im happy I found Define PC and Im very satisfied with their service and products. 10 stars if there is. I will not hesitate to recommend to my friends. thanks again.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a wonderful experience with Define PC for my very first custom PC build!

Shane was incredibly responsive, patient, and transparent with pricing throughout the entire process. As someone completely new to custom PCs, I really appreciated how he took the time to understand my inspiration and preferences, and helped put together a setup that I absolutely love, all while keeping within my budget!

What made the experience even better was the complimentary delivery and installation right at our doorstep. Shane also took the time to walk us through the different components and how everything works, which was such a thoughtful touch, especially for beginners like us!

The after-sales service was equally impressive. Shane even checked in a few weeks after delivery to make sure everything was running smoothly, which really shows how much he cares about his customers.

Overall, it was such a smooth and pleasant experience from start to finish! I couldn't be happier with my new PC, and I would highly recommend Define PC to anyone looking to build their own setup, especially first-timers! 💖
