Took the option of Custom PC Building course plus purchasing a PC, and brought my 10 year old son. I felt that Shane taught at the appropriate level for a beginner, providing just enough information to understand the core concepts and basic details. I had an outstanding experience with Shane from Define PC! From start to finish, Shane was incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring I had a smooth and stress-free experience. When he discovered that a different motherboard would be a better option for my setup, he went the extra mile to make the switch, even though it lacked built-in Wi-Fi.
Shane was proactive in resolving this by refunding the amount for the motherboard and suggesting a temporary Wi-Fi adapter until I get my gaming router. His professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond really stood out.

Shane was really accommodating and provided good service. My old PC died and I contacted him during a public holiday. Shane still responded quickly and took my calls. He took the effort to help me with the spec of my PC and got me a quote quickly.
He build my new PC within 2 days and even help move my old working parts into the new pc.
However, there was a hiccup at the start. The fact (unknown to me and him then) that using 4 RAM Dimm slots for AM5 chips restricted its speed to 3600mhz even though the ones he got me was rated for 6000hz (4x16gb). I had to read up and found out that I should have gotten 2x32gb (2 RAM DIMM slots) if I wanted to use the ram at 6000mhz. This caused initial startup issues when we were trying to set XMP and EXPO profiles. The PC couldnt boot. I had to take a lot of time debugging and reading up before realising this.
Fortunately, Shane was quick to reply my WA messages and tried to help troubleshoot it. For now, everything works(like magic) if i were to leave it with default profile. Just wished I knew earlier or was informed. Perhaps this is a good learning experience for us both.
Overall the PC works like magic and I love it! I will definitely recommed him to others and consider using his services in future for any future new builds!
