Warranty & Refund Policy

This Warranty & Refund Policy applies to all products and services provided by Define PC Pte. Ltd. (“Define PC”, “we”, “us”). This policy is to be read together with our Terms of Use and Overclocking & Stress-Test Disclaimer. By placing an order with Define PC, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.


1. General Policy

  • All sales are final unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

  • Refunds, cancellations, exchanges, or warranty claims are not automatic and are subject to assessment.

  • Change of mind, buyer’s remorse, subjective dissatisfaction, or unmet performance expectations do not qualify for refunds or returns.


2. Scope of Warranty

2.1 Define PC Workmanship Warranty

  • Define PC provides a limited workmanship warranty of 30 days from the date of delivery or self-collection.

  • This warranty covers assembly-related faults directly attributable to Define PC.

  • This warranty does not cover component defects, normal wear and tear, or performance characteristics.

2.2 Manufacturer Component Warranty

  • Individual components are covered by their respective manufacturers’ warranties.

  • Warranty duration and coverage vary by brand and product.

  • Manufacturer warranty claims are subject to manufacturer approval and processing timelines.

Define PC may assist with warranty submissions but does not guarantee approval or turnaround time.


3. What Is NOT Covered (Immediate Void Conditions)

Warranty coverage is void immediately if any of the following apply:

  • Overclocking, undervolting, XMP/EXPO, tuning, or custom profiles not explicitly sold and documented by Define PC

  • BIOS modifications, firmware flashing, or system parameter changes

  • Physical damage, misuse, negligence, liquid exposure, dust accumulation, corrosion, or pest damage

  • Power surge, unstable electrical supply, or improper grounding

  • Third-party repairs, upgrades, or modifications

  • Removal, damage, or tampering of serial numbers, warranty stickers, or seals

The following are expressly excluded:

  • Software, operating system, driver, or application issues

  • Malware, viruses, or data corruption

  • Data loss or data recovery services

  • Cosmetic wear and tear

  • Benchmark results or performance expectations


4. Overclocked, Tuned & Stress-Tested Systems

  • Systems sold with overclocking, tuning, burn-in, or stress-testing services are covered only to the extent explicitly stated in writing.

  • Overclocked components operate beyond manufacturer reference specifications and may have reduced lifespan.

  • Long-term stability, component longevity, and future compatibility are not guaranteed.

Standard manufacturer warranties may be reduced or voided for overclocked components.


5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

5.1 Custom-Built PCs

  • Custom-built PC orders are strictly non-cancellable and non-refundable once payment is received and parts procurement or assembly has commenced.

  • All deposits paid are non-refundable under all circumstances.

5.2 Prebuilt Systems

  • Cancellation requests may be considered only before dispatch.

  • Approved cancellations may be subject to restocking, administrative, and payment processing fees.

  • Once dispatched or collected, prebuilt systems are non-refundable.

5.3 Services and Fees (Non-Refundable)

The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Assembly, configuration, and customisation fees

  • Diagnostic, inspection, and troubleshooting fees

  • Burn-in testing, stress-testing, tuning, and optimisation services

  • Software installation, setup, or migration services


6. Defective, Incorrect, or DOA Items

  • Any claims for defective, damaged, or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery or collection.

  • Define PC reserves the right to inspect, test, and verify all claims.

  • Remedies, if approved, shall be limited to repair or replacement at Define PC’s discretion.

Refunds are not guaranteed and will not be issued where repair or replacement is deemed appropriate.


7. Warranty Claim Procedure

To initiate a warranty claim, customers must:

  1. Contact Define PC with proof of purchase and system details

  2. Follow troubleshooting instructions provided by our support team

  3. Return the system or component for inspection if required

Customers are responsible for data backup and delivery/shipping costs unless otherwise stated.

Inspection or diagnostic fees may apply if no fault is found.


8. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

  • Any chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal will result in immediate suspension of warranty and support services.

  • Define PC reserves the right to recover all associated administrative, legal, and recovery costs.

Ownership of goods transfers only after full and irrevocable payment is received.


9. Business & Corporate Customers

For purchases made for business, commercial, or resale purposes:

  • Consumer protection legislation may not apply.

  • All implied warranties, guarantees, and refund rights are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.

  • Products are sold based on specifications, not outcomes, uptime, or performance guarantees.


10. Force Majeure

Define PC shall not be liable for delays, failures, or non-performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to component shortages, supplier delays, logistics disruptions, customs delays, pandemics, strikes, or government actions.

Such events do not entitle customers to cancellation, refunds, or compensation.


11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Singapore law:

  • Define PC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of data, revenue, or business interruption.

  • Total liability shall be strictly limited to the amount paid for the affected product or service.


12. Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
