Welcome to Define PC Pte. Ltd. (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our website [www.definepc.com.sg] (the “Website”), including any content, features, products, and services offered through the Website.

By accessing or using this Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our Website.


1. Eligibility and Use of Website

You agree that:

  • You are legally capable of entering into binding agreements under Singapore law.

  • You will use the Website only for lawful purposes.

  • You will not use the Website in any way that may damage, disable, overburden, or impair it.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms.


2. Products and Services (Prebuilt & Custom PCs)

2.1 Prebuilt Systems

Prebuilt systems are sold as configured and tested at the time of sale. Specifications, appearance, and bundled components may vary slightly due to manufacturer revisions or availability. Images shown are for illustration purposes only.

2.2 Custom-Built Systems (Strict Terms)

All custom PCs are built strictly based on customer-selected configurations and confirmed quotations. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Once an order is confirmed and payment is made, it is final and non-cancellable once procurement or assembly has commenced.

  • Component substitutions may be made at our sole discretion where required for compatibility or availability, without degrading overall performance.

  • Performance benchmarks, FPS figures, and thermal results are non-guaranteed estimates.

2.3 Customer Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for:

  • Selecting components appropriate for their intended use case.

  • Ensuring compatibility with existing peripherals, software, operating systems, and third-party hardware.

Define PC shall not be liable for incompatibility, dissatisfaction, or unmet expectations where specifications match the confirmed order.


3. Pricing, Payments, and Orders

  • All prices are listed in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • Full payment is required before order processing unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Define PC reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order due to pricing errors, suspected fraud, stock issues, or system errors.


4. Order Confirmation, Cancellation, and Refunds

4.1 Order Confirmation

Orders are deemed confirmed only upon:

  • Full payment received, and

  • Written confirmation issued by Define PC via email, invoice, or official messaging channel.

4.2 Cancellation

  • Custom-built PC orders are strictly non-cancellable and non-refundable once parts have been ordered or assembly has commenced.

  • Prebuilt system orders may be cancelled only before dispatch, subject to restocking and administrative fees.

4.3 Refunds

Refunds are granted solely at the discretion of Define PC and, if approved, will exclude:

  • Assembly, configuration, testing, and burn-in fees

  • Diagnostic or service fees

  • Payment processing fees

  • Any non-refundable deposits

No refunds will be issued for change of mind, performance expectations, or subjective dissatisfaction.


4A. Payment Default, Chargebacks, and Fraud Protection

  • All payments are final once processed.

  • In the event of a chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal, Define PC reserves the right to:

    • Suspend warranty and support services immediately;

    • Recover all associated costs, including administrative, legal, and recovery fees;

    • Submit transaction records, delivery proof, system logs, and communications to banks or payment providers.

  • Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent blacklisting from future purchases.

Ownership of goods does not transfer until full and irrevocable payment is received.


5. Delivery, Collection, and Risk

  • Delivery timelines are estimates only and shall not constitute contractual obligations.

  • Delays caused by suppliers, logistics partners, customs clearance, or force majeure events do not entitle customers to cancellation or compensation.

  • Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery or self-collection.

  • Customers must inspect products upon receipt and report issues within 48 hours. Failure to do so shall be deemed acceptance.


6. Warranty and Support

  • Hardware warranties are provided by respective manufacturers and are subject to their terms.

  • Define PC provides limited workmanship warranty as stated in our Warranty Policy.

  • Warranty is void immediately in cases of:

    • Overclocking, undervolting, or XMP/EXPO usage not explicitly sold and documented by Define PC

    • BIOS modifications, firmware flashing, or custom tuning

    • Physical damage, liquid exposure, dust buildup, or power surge damage

    • Third-party repairs or modifications

  • Software, operating system issues, data loss, malware, and application compatibility are not covered.

Customers are responsible for backing up data at all times. Define PC bears no liability for data loss.


6A. Business and Corporate Customers

Where products or services are acquired for business, commercial, or resale purposes:

  • The Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (CPFTA) shall not apply where legally excluded.

  • All implied warranties and conditions are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.

  • Business customers acknowledge that systems are purchased based on specifications, not outcomes or performance guarantees.


7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software, is the property of Define PC Pte. Ltd. or its licensors and is protected under intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or exploit any content without prior written consent.


8. User Content and Reviews

If you submit reviews, comments, or other content:

  • You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, display, and reproduce such content.

  • You confirm that the content does not infringe any third-party rights.

We reserve the right to remove content deemed inappropriate or misleading.


9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Singapore law:

  • Define PC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, loss of profit, loss of data, or business interruption damages.

  • Total liability, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall be strictly limited to the amount paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.


10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Define PC Pte. Ltd., its directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Website or breach of these Terms.


11. Third-Party Links

The Website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of such websites.


12. Privacy

Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Singapore.


13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be effective once posted on this page. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.


14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.


14A. Force Majeure

Define PC shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Supplier or manufacturer delays

  • GPU, CPU, or component shortages

  • Logistics disruptions, port congestion, or customs delays

  • Acts of God, pandemics, strikes, or government actions

Such events do not entitle customers to cancellation, refunds, or compensation.


Appendix A: Overclocking & Stress-Test Disclaimer

This disclaimer applies to any system sold with overclocking, tuning, burn-in, or stress-testing services.

  • Overclocking and performance tuning involve operating components beyond manufacturer reference specifications.

  • While Define PC applies professional standards, such configurations increase wear, heat, and power consumption.

  • Long-term stability, component lifespan, and future compatibility are not guaranteed.

Stress tests and benchmarks:

  • Represent performance under controlled conditions only.

  • Do not guarantee identical results across all applications or environments.

By purchasing systems with overclocking or stress-testing services, customers acknowledge and accept the associated risks and exclusions from standard warranty coverage unless explicitly stated otherwise.
